Yes its possible to purchase resale HDB immediately, if you are eligible for the hdb eligibility schemes. I have assisted various clients to do the same and have helped them to transit smoothly to their next property, hope to do the same for you.

Ivan was prompt in replying to my endless queries & concerns. He was very attentive to details and he knows my exact 'taste' during the process of house hunting. I would say that my requirement in getting a flat is quite high because i was looking for a flat located near my parent's as well as the MRT station. It impressed me that he could read my mind well which makes the whole transaction alot easier. Andrew : Ivan understood there's urgency to sell my private property too within the given timeframe, provided me with assurance and solutions. When the sale of my private property commenced, it was during the Covid-19 pandemic period; whereby, only 2 unique visitors were allowed to view the property on any given day. Notwithstanding this, Ivan somehow managed to arrange many viewings in the weeks ahead & from time to time, he would also update me on the viewers' feedback (if any), after their viewings. Dear sir/madam,

You will be eligible to purchase a resale HDB upon selling your private condominium unit, however, you will not be eligible for any housing grant. If you are looking at purchasing a BTO unit, then you will need to wait out a period of 30 months after the sale of your condominium unit.

As timeline for sale and purchase differs quite significantly for a resale HDB and private condominium, proper planning should be put in place especially towards the transition of funds.
