Can I (British) buy a HDB unit for my retired parents who are Singaporean under their names?

Afternoon Cynthia,

To purchase resale HDB unit under your parents name is definitely possible. However, you will need to get banker to assess your credit status before you leap into it. You are also required to pay the monthly installment by cash, unless your parents have enough CPF which they can utilize.
