can i afford a 2rm condo at caspian? My joint Cpf 180K, $100K cash. I own a 5 rm HDB flat at Jurong West fully paid.I plan to rent the 5-rm flat. What is the best arrangement

Morning,

A 2 bedroom unit at Caspian is currently asking at around $920k to $1.1 mil. You have enough for the 20% deposit and legal plus stamp fee, if you managed to get 80% loan.

Assuming you are purchasing a unit at $1 mil and getting 80% loan, your monthly income must be strong enough to allow banks to disperse such amount to you. However, do note that if you are SPR, you might incurred ABSD and face an issue with renting out your HDB unit, current the most current ruling.
