option fee has to be paid in cash for resale HDB purchase. You can use CPF or cash for your mortgage repayment.

Hi,

1) It is true that the CPF allowed reimbursement for the option fee on BTO flat purchase. You will have to pay the option fees first in cash then apply for reimbursement from the CPF. You have to do it at the HDB.
2) But in the resale flat purchase, this option fees paid cannot be reimbursed. This amount paid will be considered as part of the payment for the purchase.
