Hi,
In fact, it is a must to draft out an inventory list if buyer and seller had agreed on any fittings in the flat that are to remain during handover. It must be in black and white, signed on the day of exercising the option.
So during final inspection, it is to ensure the unit is vacant, and all inventory that promised to be remain are still intact.
You may use this list to counter-sign, dated on final inspection date to ensure seller keeps their promise.
If you did not draft any list in the beginning, it is wise to draft out the inventory list during final inspection to ensure seller do not remove anything that you may need. It must be sign by both parties with witness, and with date.
