Hi,

Unfortunately PR households have to sell away their hdb if they purchase condo. They can't keep both. Thanks and hope to assist with your plans further.

Good morning buyer,

Yes if your household has at least one Singaporean citizen.

But if both owners in your household are SPRs, you will have to dispose off your HDB within 6 months from TOP date (new condo) or purchase completion date (resale condo).

Afternoon,

SPR HDB owners are not eligible to keep the HDB unit should they opt to upgrade to private property. They will be required to sell away the HDB unit within 6 months from key collection.

    Thanks for your reply. If one of the PR convert to SC and is above 35 years old, how will this work out? Is there any restriction on the type of the HDB that can be owned under single above 35 years old?

    Further to that, do the other PR able to maintain the ownership or will have to transfer the name to the SC?
