Evening,

As both of you are SPR for more than 3 years, you will be eligible to purchase resale HDB unit. However, you will required to remove your ownership holding on the private property within 6 months of key collection to the HDB unit.

Good evening buyer,

You can try to appeal to keep your overseas residential property before you commit to a resale HDB purchase but it will be on a case by case basis.

The chances will be pretty slim as my 3 different groups of malaysian SPR buyers had their appeal rejected and they ended up transferring their ownership to their family members.
