As a buyer, I was told by my agent that in the event if the seller agent refuse share the commission with my agent, I should pay my the agent the commission instead. Is that correct?

Hi KC,

If your agent has indeed indicated that you should pay him the commission should selling agent refuse to share is incorrect. Rather, you may pay him out of goodwill for the effort which he/she has spent in helping you looking and securing a unit.
