Am I eligible to buy a resale flat if I have 100k in CPF and 10k in cash? I am looking at resale 2 room flat around east (Simei, Tampines and Paris Ris). I am a first timer and is not sure with the procedure. Will there be any flat that will fit my financial status?

Morning Tng,

I don't think you can get 2 room flat in Simei, Tampines or Pasir Ris. The nearest estate that have 2 room flat are in Bedok. You have to be SC, above the age of 35 to be eligible for purchase of resale unit under single scheme. As to whether you are financially able for the purchase, it would depend on how much loan you can get and whether your loan is from HDB or bank.

    Thanks for getting bk to me. Do you suggest me to apply for the HDB loan first before searching for a house? Can I apply for DBSS if I joint name with my mom but my parent own a house already?
