Am i allowed to rent out my condo apartment to my friend for a period of 3 months? I was looking at the URA website and there isn't a definitive answer there. Moreover, the rules from URA stating that the minimum period is 6 onths is more a guideline rather then the law.

Hi,

Minimum will be a 6 month lease according to regulations. Anything lower, you will be penalized and you can't stamp the TA with IRAs, and if any conflict occurs (structural damage, accidents, non payment of rent etc), you have no recourse since the lease is not recognized under the law.
