Basing on existing regulations, unfortunately you are unable to purchase a HDB as a single PR. For assistance in your application for citizenship or for your son to be SPR, you should approach the relevant professionals for assistance or approach your Member of Parliament for assistance.

Alternatively, you may look into purchasing a private residential property if finances allow. Do take note that 5% ABSD is applicable on SPR for their first residential property purchase.

HDB Resale Flat:
Unfortunately, as a single PR, you cannot buy a new HDB flat directly from the government. However, you can purchase a resale flat with another PR (with certain conditions).
To be eligible for an HDB resale flat, you’ll need to form a family nucleus with another applicant. This could be your son (once he obtains PR status), a sibling, or another family member.
