Good morning Moi,

You have to fulfill the MOP of 5 years before you can rent out or sell the whole unit but you can rent out rooms if the owner is physically staying in the unit.

Morning,

MOP must be fulfilled in order for you to be eligible to rent out the entire unit. However, if you have being assigned overseas to work and allowed to bring your spouse and family along, you can then appeal to rent out the unit during your absence. Do note that this is subjected to approval and limited to certain rental time line.
