Hi Matthew,

Typically from the 1st deposit received till completion handover of unit its approximately 12 weeks. It may be possible to discuss an extension period after the completion but usually that will not exceed 12 weeks.

The conveyancing process typically takes between 10 to 12 weeks. For private transactions, the timeline is more flexible and can be discussed further as long as all parties are agreeable.

If you need more time to vacate, we can request for an extension of stay or do a sale and lease back arrangement.

Typically 12 weeks after buyer exercise the Option, however the timeline is flexible and can be discussed with buyer.
Please take note of your bank loan redemption timeline also if you still have loan.

From the time you accept the 1% offer cheque and sign on the OTP, typically it will be about 3 months of dateline for you to vacate the unit.

Hi Mr. Matthew,

1) In a private residential sale it will take approximately 3 months (12 weeks) to complete.
2) This is when you will have to hand it over to the buyer.
3) Generally you only need to hand over the keys and access cards, etc to your lawyer. Your lawyer will hand over all these items to your buyer.
4) Only those that are free of mortgage can be expedited to reduce to 2 months (8 weeks).

It really depends how the negotiation works around.

Typical transaction is from you grant option, 2 weeks option period and 3 months completion period thus estimated around 3.5 months.

For one of my recent deals, buyers negotiated for 1.5 months option period while 3 months completion.

So each and every case is different.
