7th Jan will be signing the document with seller at HDB and seller will be extending stay till probably end March. Current unit have 3 tenants in one room which I will inheriting.
Qns 1 : As I am not physically not staying there from 7th Jan due to seller's extension of stay, am I still allowed to rent out the room as the new owner? and do I have to file their names to HDB?
Qns 2 : To avoid congestion in the room & due to hygiene concerns, am I allowed to place 1 of them in another room while having the remaining 2 staying put in the original room? Is this considered as renting out 2 rooms as I believe I can only rent out 1 room? Thank you.
