Morning,

Once the OTP have being exercised, both sellers and buyers are required to attend for HDB first appointment. This would follow by HDB completion. Whole process would take around 3.5 to 4 months (fastest) before you are the new official owner of the unit.

Hi Metal, there time frame for the seller to move out will depends on the agreement between both seller and buyer. Generally, the completion date or the seller move out date would be between 8 to 10 weeks. And for your next question, a buyer should be able to move into his new resale unit approx in 3 to 4 months time.

Good morning metal slug,

Normally after a buyer exercised an OTP, selection of first appointment will be 6 to 8 weeks from the exercise date (based on availability shown on HDB website) then second appointment will be 6 to 8 weeks from first appointment. Thus as a buyer, you will need to wait around 3 to 4 months to move in.
