1. I owned a resale HDB (MOP in Mar 2025) before knowing my partner who recently bought a private property. What will happen to both of our properties if we were to get married?
2. After we get married, is there anything I need to update in the HDB portal? Eg like include his name as essential occupier? Will the MOP be reset for 5years after adding spouse name? Or will retain as Mar 2025?

Technically speaking, HDB will decide if you should sell the HDB or your partner should sell the private property, although I have heard of cases where nothing happened. Do you foresee that you will officially get married before March 2025? Read More
