- From the June 2024 BTO launch onwards, the HDB Staggered Downpayment Scheme will be enhanced to help young couples finance their new homes
- Starting this year, the yearly BTO launches will be reduced to three – occurring in February, June, and October – instead of four.
- HDB plans to release fewer BTO flats in 2024, with approximately 19,600 units compared to the 22,780 units launched in 2023.
- As outlined in the National Day Rally 2023 address, the June 2024 HDB BTO launch will mark the conclusion of categorising estates into mature and non-mature categories.
- Subsequently, commencing from the second half of 2024, newly launched BTO flats will be categorised as Standard, Plus, or Prime.
