Hi Princess,

On your income issue, you can contact a banker and only disclose to her for your loan approval.

Let me know if you need any banker's help.

Please feel free to drop me an email or call me directly for a non-obligation discussion, if you still have further questions. Alternatively, we can also meet up to discuss
at your convenient time and place.

Thank you & Best Regards

    Hi JA

Thanks for your reply ! :)

I assume I can provide an indicative budget for my relative to work on,

But my income statement and CPF etc, im more comfortable to pass to my banker directly.

    I have my banker :)

    Thanks !

Hi Princess,

An agent does not need to know your monthly income to assist you in your real estate needs, but you're required to furnish the banker with such information to obtain a bank loan unless you'll be fully settling the purchase via cash. How close this banker is to your agent to disclose this information will be tricky but clients' particulars should be confidential.

In general, what you need to furnish the agent is the purchase price range you are looking at.

You're pretty right in that it is often sensitive to disclose certain information to relatives as well as entrusting the sale/purchase to your relatives,as should anything go wrong with the transaction (eg. Did not sell/purchase at the best price),this relationship could be severely strained and put both parties in awkward position.

My advise is that give your relative an opportunity to serve you while not shutting the services of other agents out.Ultimately, your objective is to secure a place you like to be home.I am sure your relative will be able to understand so.
