Resale EC are considered as private property hence buyers can opt to sell it off after purchase. However, do note that SSD will be payable based on when you are selling it off.

Like all private properties, there is no restriction on holding period upon purchasing a resale EC. The buyer can sell off immediately upon purchase.

However, do take note that SSD applies.

EC that are fulfilled MOP are considered semi privatised in which single SPR or SC or couple like SC/ SPR can purchase.

In such cases, you can sell off the unit anytime. But do take note seller's stamp duty will be applicable if you sell within 3 years.
