Hi Mr Boon,
you do not have to sell your resale HDB to buy an EC.
You can proceed to buy an EC unit and sell your HDB within 6mths from the EC's TOP date.

Hi Mr Ho
I presume that you are talking about new EC? You need not sell the resale HDB first, and could wait till you collected the keys to the new EC unit, and then you proceed to sell it off.

Dear sir,
Your question is quite generic and there could be different scenarios which I do not wish to quote something which is wrong.
Are you indicating that you are looking to buy a brand new EC direct from developer launch while you have an existing HDB bought from the resale market?
