Dear sir/madam,

The ABSD applicable for SPR is at 5% of the purchase price or market value, whichever is higher. This rate is applicable for the first residential home.

For subsequent home purchases, the applicable rates will be at 15%.

The Additional Buyer Stamp Duty (ABSD) for a SPR is 5%. This is on top of the normal stamp duty of about 3% to 4% depending on the purchase price of the property.

For SPR 1st residential purchase, there will be a buyers stamp duty (BSD) of approx 3% , on top of another additional buyers stamp duty (ABSD) of 5%, totalling 8% of purchase price or valuation.
