Hi Fiona,

Hope it's not too late to reply u. A rough est. of demolition works alone cost roughly around 10-15K with additional 1-2K for insurance. However, if u were to rebuilt it, then the demolishing cost will be a lump sump together with the fees for reconstruction which is actually consider as "new erection" in URA term. & when u do a new erection a qualify Architect is strictly required to do all necessary submission to various authorities.
Do contact me if u need further clarification & I have a ready architect to give u a better & more detail advice.

Thank you. Hope to hear from u soon.

Demolishing a 5,000 sq ft two-storey bungalow in Singapore typically costs between S$20,000 and S$25,000, depending on factors like the complexity of the structure, materials used, accessibility, and disposal requirements. This estimate usually includes labor, equipment, and debris removal, but not insurance or permits.

Additional Considerations:
• Insurance: Required for demolition work; costs vary based on project specifics.
• Permits: Necessary for legal compliance; fees depend on local regulations.
• Site Preparation: May involve utility disconnections and hazardous material removal, which can increase costs.

For a more accurate estimate, it’s advisable to consult with licensed demolition contractors who can assess your property’s specific needs. Read More
