Typical commission applicable for selling a HDB is 2% + GST. Take note that GST applicable will be 8% in 2023. As I have always shared, commission on selling is only applicable upon a successful transaction, therefore this amount can be factored into the final selling price of the property, which means that the buyers are the ones paying the agent fees instead of sellers. Hi,

1) Technically you should negotiate this commission rate before selling.
2) It is generally 2% + GST for registered agencies and 2% for non-registered agencies. So this will depend on the agent you engaged came from GST registered agency.
3) Some agents will demand for as high as 7% when you have more demanding conditions.
