What is PES in condo? Is it a patio with swing gate for the ground floor unit?

Hi,
It stands for Private Enclosed Space, typically its a patio with swing gate so there's easy to facilities and another entry point to the unit, though there are some ground floor units with PES but without swing gate. May I know what are your plans? Thanks and hope to value-add to your plans further.
