EC is Executive Condominium..the HDB ruling applies when you buy direct from developer..they are actually the same as private condo,just that only Singaporean can apply direct,holding period of 5 yrs before you can sell to local/PR and 10yrs to foreigners,combine income not more than $10k to be eligible..I have a brand new EC just launch at Buangkok MRT,still have quotas for first-timers until Nov..prices from $5xxK and above..kindly contact me if you are keen..thanks

Hi Maggie, currently with the new ruling, if you buy a new EC, you can only sell after 5 years.
Condo will have more investment growth though.

Hi,

there are quite a few as EC is considered quasi HDB before privatisation.

Facilities wise, it depends on the respective EC development. but many new ecs are full condo facilities and might even have more than private condos
