Dear Ms Lisa,
Why do you even ask this question? I assume that you have somehow shortlisted a unit for purchase/rent and you are figuring out what is the amount you would like to offer for this unit?
My opinion, put in your best offer. Do you want to fall into a situation where your offer is just short of a couple of thousand dollars and lost out to a competitor unit should you like this unit very much? I have personal clients who lost out to close a deal by a mere $10k for the purchase of a landed property and this client is able to offer much more than the closing price. Is that worthwhile to go through and settle for the so called 2nd best?
