It is negotiable before you ink the service fees agreement with the salesperson. What are your plans moving forward? I believe that if you are making a profit from sale, what matters more will be how much more profit will the salesperson be able to get you over the amount of commission you will be paying out. If the salesperson manages to convince the buyer to buy over your apartment at a premium, I strongly believe that he or she deserves to be paid well. Don't you agree?

Commission is negotiable and not fixed. There are Sellers who are only paying 0.5%, while there are also some paying as high as 4%.

Commission is negotiable for real estate transactions, be it rental or sale.

But usually there is a set of market standard.

For sale, usually it's 2% plus 7% GST but it could be higher. As mentioned, commission is negotiable.

Commission is negotiable, but typically the market rate is 2% of sale price + 7% GST. I believe the more important is to work with a professional who is committed and someone you are comfortable with, who can value add to the chances of a higher sale price.
