We would like to rent a residential property for about 6 months. Please help me with these 3 questions.
Is such short term common in the market?
If the landlord is seeking a one year lease, will he accept a 6 months lease?
What are the clauses and condition in tendency agreement when it come to early termination?

Hi Gavin, most landlords would go for a minimum of 1 year lease but some would not mind 6 months.

Hi Gavin,

Answer to your 3 questions;

1) Yes, 6 months rent is possible
2) If the landlord is only looking for a year lease, then he will not accept 6 months.
3) Clause and conditions is the same as one year lease, unless the landlord has additional clause to add in, early termination you have have to pay pro rated commission back to the landlord, etc...
