It is very unfortunate for you with your unpleasant encounter. Have you tried speaking to your neighbours to see if there is anyway to compromise in terms of the noise?
In most 12 months lease agreement, there is usually no premature termination clause available, which means there is no way to exit the agreement before the term ends, unless landlord is also agreeable for you to exit earlier. One of the common proposal which I have often encountered is for tenants to look for a suitable tenant to replace themselves, subject to the landlord's approval.
