We have 2 house next to each other in the same chawl. I have a join family both the house are not registered yet as the chawl was under court case since 1990,so we were only paying rents of Rs 21 for each house,however the receipte was only one having both the house no. Due to which all are documents like ration card,electricity bill were one containing both the no's. Now when the chawl is going under redevelopment the builder is not ready to give us 2 different house and will give only one. We have seperated the house no's on each documents however the builder is sticking to only giving house. Please tell me what can we do?
