We engaged this exclusive agent to sell our flat, during the process of sale, we realize that he gave us a lot of wrong info that we are able to get a bank loan for our next flat, although my husband recently change to self-employed for less than a year. He told us if my husband got income should not be a problem. We trusted him but only to realize we might not get a loan. But it was too late as the option form sign and if we back out buyer will sue us. All the while he stand on buyer's side without offering any assistance to us. He say we must sell or get sue. Few days ago he did not turn up for the completion and the original copy of otp form was with him. I want to ask since he is our exclusive agent, he should be present on completion right? If that's case can we complain & not pay the agent fee?
