Understand with overseas property, we cannot upgrade to a bigger resale HDB and that we have to disposed within 6mths from completion of purchase. Does disposed also means i can just remove my name w/o selling the property as my parents are living there. We are SC.

Hi,

Yes as long as your name is removed/withdrawn from the overseas property, it is considered disposed. (ie your ownership status is disposed).

Yes for instance, if you decide to transfer the ownership to your parents, it will be considered as disposal of interest in overseas property.
