Under the URA Statutory by-laws, Urban Redevelopment Authority has clarified on the "SOHO" new developments as marketed by some Developers, after some buyers has not be able to get FSSB/BCA approval for Change of use.
Would-be property buyers should be cautious and are advised to check the approved use of the property and check with the Developer or URA before committing to any purchases.
