Good morning Esther, You have to weigh between the options. 1) capital appreciation Will your property hits sky high price anymore in the midst of all the cooling measures? or 2) monthly passive income Will you be alright to sit and wait for monthly rental income? Do be mindful that you might be subject to ABSD for your next purchase if you sell this and purchase another. Why not let me seek bank valuation for your property first? Hi Esther, It is going to be a tough decision to make in all honesty. Most salespersons will ask you the same old question of what your investment objective was initially when you pumped in the money for purchase. Why do I say that? The current market in terms of rental or resale are challenging. Very challenging if you ask me therefore getting a buyer or tenant to take up your place may take sometime unless your pricing is reasonable. By being reasonable, it simply means not maximising the full potential of the rental or sale value. What does this indicate?
