Hi,

If you have plans to upgrade or to shift in the next few years, it may not be a wise move to pay off the loan. May I have more info and requirements about your plans so to make better recommendations? Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans.

Hi,

To answer your question, it really depends on why do you wish to do that. If this HDB is your first property and you are planning to purchase a second property, then it makes sense to clear off the loan for your HDB first so as to qualify for 80% for the next property mortgage loan.

Then next will also be how you are servicing the loan. Whether you are servicing the loan using cash or you are using CPF also makes a difference to whether should you clear off the loan.

Maybe I can suggest that you can just drop me a call and I can try to explain more in depth to you so as to advise you better. No worries as there will be no obligations at all. It will definitely be easier to advise you over the phone once I get to know your situation a little bit better.

Looking forward to hear from you soon! Cheers!

Good afternoon,

May I know why do you have this thought?

Perhaps you can share more with me so I will give you my opinion.

HDB loan 2.6% vs CPF 2.5%.

Which one will you pick?
