Refer to my previous question. Only a joint account can buy an EC unit under single scheme. I have a sibling holding a PR and he owned a 4 rooms hdb unit and he has pay off the loan mortgage. Can we share and buy an EC unit? I am holding a sg citizenship.

Hi Mr. James,

For EC under Joint Singles Scheme, both applicants (you and your sibling) need to be Singapore Citizens and at least 35 years old at point of application.

Will you be keen to explore private condo projects? You do have more options available in terms of location, and there are some value-buys available which can be competitively priced. Thanks and hope to speak to you to understand your housing requirements further before value-adding.

Warm regards,
