Q1. My son is single and if he joins name in our purchase of a hdb resale flat, will he be entitled to the CPF S$40K subsidy if he will to purchase a resale flat in future within 2KM from the flat?
Q2. Also can he register for a new flat directly from hdb and be entitled for any subsidy?

Evening Mr. Ong,

If your current unit have being purchased with grant or is an subsidized unit from HDB, it would means that he have utilized his first subsidized unit from HDB.

    Dear Mike, Thanks for being the first to response. I will repost my queries as :
    Q1. We hv not buy yet. Plan Father & Mother + my son to buy hdb resale flat (w/o any subsidy) so as to utilise my son's cpf for monthly repayment.
    Q2. If my son + his gf (future wife) say after 3 years will to buy a 1-4room resale hdb flat, will he be entitled to the CPF grant?
    Q3. Or if he chooses to buy a new flat direct from hdb, will he be entitled for any prevailing subsidy?
    Q4. We understand so long as he buys another hdb flat his name must be removed from the father & mother's flat. Right?
    Thanks in advance for your help.
