Please help me with the below queries. Thank you very much.
1) Eastvale Executive Condo launched in 1996 & TOP in 1999: what was the compulsory CASH downpayment before getting bank loan/using CPF? 5% or 20%?
2) Buying a Resale Private Condo in 2006: what was the compulsory CASH downpayment before getting bank loan/using CPF? 5% or 20%?

Hi,

1) Not sure where you are getting from this.
2) Eastvale is already considered a private condo by now, therefore it is the same as a resale private condo.
3) The current maximum loan-To-Value from the bank is 75% across the board instructed by the MAS.
4) The down payment is 25% to purchase any private condo, of which 5% must be in cash. 20% can be cash and/or CPF.
5) When you buy a private condo, you are expected to place a 1% deposit in a cheque or cashier order bearing the owner's name.
6) Usually it is 14 days upon getting your Letter-Of-Offer (LOO) from the bank on the amount they are lending you, you are expected to exercise the OTP by placing another 4%.
7) Within 14 days of exercising the S&P, you are expected to pay the buyer stamp duty.
8) On the completion day (usually is 3 months from the OTP date), you will be expected to pay the remaining 20% assume you are able to receive the 75% loan from the bank.
