Hi,

As both of you are considered one family entity, you will be subjected to 5 year MOP even though you are registered as occupant. This is because your name is required to form the family nucleus and hence you are considered an essential occupier, where 5 year MOP still applies.

If you wish to have 2 properties, ideally purchase separately under individual names. May I know will you be open to such an option? Thanks and look forward to discuss and value-add to your housing plans further.
