Asked by
My tenant (in my condo) wishes to extend her lease by 3 months. Could I confirm that these are all the steps:
- Inform condo MCST of the extension of lease period
- Prepare a revision of the tenancy agreement, signatories are me (landlord) and the tenant. This tenancy agreement does not need to be submitted to any authorities, correct?
- Pay e-stamp online, claim the cost from the tenant
- I keep the original tenancy agreement, pass copies to tenant
That's it, right?
Thank you!

Yes,

you got it.

Though not every condo requires to be informed or renewal / extension.
