My son is PR of singapore.He propose to purchase a HDB resale flat. He purchased a flat in his country and registered in his name.But he has given the flat to his parents as their ancestral house was small.Can he purchase a HDB resale flat in singapore.I was told that he should not have property either in singapore or in his country.Kindly clarify.
