My rental with my landlord ended on 10 jul. he refused to return my deposit stated that the house is still dirty etc. I arranged the cleaner to go down to clean & inform the landlord to open the door. But on that day the landlord chase me away & refused to let the cleaner clean. I told him that I want to settle the cleaning & get back my deposit & he refused & when I told him I will proceed with small claim court, he say go ahead. In one of a few event when we are trying to settle this matter, the landlord hurl vulgarity & abusive word on me. This has been dragged for abt 1 week & the landlord still got no action. What can I do to get back my deposit? I told him that after the cleaner cleaned the house, I want to get back my deposit minus the replacement of the replacement aircon controller. When she requested for an original receipt for aircon servicing, I provided her with one, he even say that I forged the receipt. I even asked the serviceman to come down & he still chased us away.
