my rental contract ends on 10th Dec.agent say owner will give back deposit after 2 weeks.is this legal.

Hi Raj,

It's common that some TA has this clause in it.

Perhaps you can look through your agreement again. If possible get your agent (if you have an agent that represented you during this transaction) to speak to Landlord about returning you the deposit on the spot after they inspect the place.
