My Punggol 5rm! flat is going to MOP in July 2020.

This flat is jointly owned by me and my wife. My older son is going to Primary 1 school with 1km. As such I have to stay here for another 3 years.

Can I sell my 5 room flat and downgrade to a 4 room flat with 1km of my son primary school? Are there other options?

If you have valid reason to sell your 5 room before MOP, you can write to HDB for approval to sell before MOP.

Also, almost all schools at Punggol are within 1km so technically if you want to downgrade to 4 room at Punggol to be within 1 km to your son's primary school there is no issue at all.
