The typical scope of duties of a real estate salesperson ends once the tenant has taken over the premises. If you read through the contents of your tenancy agreement, it is likely to include the minor repair clause where tenant will undertake all repairs required if the costs of repair each item is under certain amount of money as stated in the tenancy agreement. Any excess in the repair costs stated will be covered by the landlord. This will be applicable usually after 1 month from takeover of premises.
You may wish to google for handyman services for the repair services and get your quotation done. Landlord should also have provided an avenue of communication should the landlord be required to cover the excess costs. Do take note that in such events where landlord needs to cover the excess costs, their approval to proceed with the repairs is usually required.
