My parents passed away without living a will. I have applied to the lawyer as the administrator of the flat. I am currently the occupier and i have a sister who is married and owned a hdb flat. Would like to check if i am able to keep the flat as an adminstrator or i have to transfer ownership. Will this consider that i have bought a resale flat once? Is it possible for me to invest in a pte property if i hold on to the flat as an administrator or will hdb force me to sell the ndb upon owning a pte property?

Afternoon,

What is stated on your Grant of Probate? Will there be a contest from your sister, if you were to do a transfer of ownership to your name? However, when you choose to transfer the estate under your name, provided there's no contest being raised, you must fulfill the MOP prior to purchasing another property.
