My parents have a 4 room HDB flat under joint tenancy - they obtained the property through SERS in 2010 and purchase date is 28 Sep 2010 when checked on HDB web.
They also have a landed private property in Singapore under joint tenancy. I am the only child.
I have a 2 room BTO HDB flat directly purchased from HDB
For the scenario below, please advise:
If they pass away and they will me both the HDB flat (4 room) and the private property, can I sell of my 2 room BTO HDB and retain the 4 room HDB flat and the private property or will I be asked to sell of the private property to retain a HDB flat.
Another option is - Can I transfer the private residential property under my company's name (Private Limited) so that I can keep the HDB (4 room) under my name and the private residential property under company name?
