My mother in law bought a 3 room bed without any loan few months ago. After moving in, she realised she is not used to staying a lone and at times, she feel "scare". Under such condition, can she rent out one of the two bedrooms? What is average rental for one bedroom with freedom to use the hall and kitchen in Bedok North, walking distance to Tanah Merah MRT?

Evening SG,

Your mother-in-law bought a 4 room HDB unit not long ago. She's eligible to rent out two of the rooms as long as se's also staying within the unit. The estimated asking price for common room near Tanah Merah is around $650 to $750, depending on room condition.
