My landlord just came to know from previous tenant as well a habit of troubling n deducting security deposit for no reason. We just moved in the premises 2 days back n he has not done any of the work agreed by him noted in the agreement. When we are notifying him all the defects n problems in the house he is acting funny n telling us not to send emails. We fear he might forfeit our SD also. According to the agreement we have 2 weeks time to notify him of the defects. Also he agreed to return our deposit back at the time of vacating which he had agreed to with us in the agreement. Now he is sending mails that he will not do so...how should we deal with such a cheap fellow
