My husband and I have filed for a divorce. Must we sell the BTO 4 room flat which is only 3 years old? If I want to keep it, how much must I pay my husband? My husband propose that I transfer my share to him & that he will retain the flat under Single Singapore Citizen Scheme. Please advise if it is possible?

Morning, Upon filing for divorce, the procedure will still take some thing before the court order will be issued. Based on the contest that both of you might undertake, the verdict will be indicated within the court order. Part purchase of ex-spouse share of the unit is also one of the possible outcome from divorce, other then selling the unit into the resale market. As to how much the pay-out will be would depend on the holding type on your unit and how much CPF the other party have contributed to the unit. FYI Mike Lim 96929209  m52i@yahoo.com ERA Read More

Hi Mike, Thanks for the response. What about the part that he retain the 3 YEARS OLD BTO flat under the SSC scheme? Is he eligible to?
